Document Description
The Department of Cannabis Control, pursuant to authority granted under Business and Procession Code, Section 26012, approved a Small Mixed-Light Tier 1 commercial cannabis license submitted on 11/11/2024 by Geoffrey Miller. The Project will consist of cannabis cultivation on an existing site located at 59950 Registered Guest Road (APN 056-060-22-00). This project was issued Mendocino County cultivation permit AG 2018-0110 on 2/12/2024. The site is zoned Upland Residential (UR:40) and has previously been used for agriculture. This site now includes
cannabis production with no plans for future expansion. Activities that take place include cannabis cultivation, drying, curing, weighing, trimming, disposal, and storage. The project would continue to source water from an onsite well, there is onsite septic for wastewater, and power is provided by an onsite solar array.

Class 1 Categorical Exemptions consist of the operation, repair, maintenance, permitting, leasing, licensing, or minor alterations to existing public or private structures, facilities, mechanical equipment, or topographical features, involving negligible or no expansion of use beyond that existing at the time of the lead agency’s determination. None of the exceptions to this exemption defined in Section 15300.2 apply.
