Document Description
The purpose of this project is to replace 3,700 feet of broken water pipeline within Live Oak Springs Road prism in Henry W. Coe State Park to provide water to the park's backcountry. Work will: Use heavy equipment to excavate a 1-foot wide by 2-foot deep trench within the road prism; Place 3,700 feet of 1 ½-in. HDPE pipe into the trench; Use no more than five (5) stainless steel fittings for joining preceding and additional pipes, and to join the new pipe to the water tank; If possible, remove any existing, defunct 1 ¼ inch Sch40 and Class 125 PVC pipe located in the desired pipeline path, or abandon it in place; Backfill trench with excavated materials; and Dispose of any removed defunct pipe.
