The District is proposing to construct a new pump station at the Marin City Pond, which will divert flood waters to Richardson Bay via a culvert located within the Caltrans right-of-way. A new platform-type pump station would be constructed at the northeast corner of the Pond to provide a permanent solution to reduce flooding in Marin City and to maximize the limited flow capacity across U.S. Highway 101.
