Development Application No. 2024-00057 is exempt from the requirements to prepare additional environmental documentation per California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines, Section 15301, Class 1 (Existing Facilities). Class 1 exemption consists of operation, repair, maintenance, permitting, leasing, licensing, or minor alteration of existing public or private structures, facilities, mechanical equipment, or topographical features, involving negligible or no expansion of existing or former use. The project proposes to remove and replace existing trees that would be consistent with the historic maintenance practices of the existing Homeowner Association-managed landscaped slope areas on the subject property and historic levels of operation.
