Document Description
The project will add greater security measures to nine lecture halls at various locations throughout the UC Davis Main Campus. This will include installation of access control, cameras, and intrusion alarms. The nine buildings include: California Hall, Social Science & Humanities (SSH) Lecture Hall, Khaira (Science Lab Lecture Hall), Kleiber Hall, Wellman Hall, Olsen Hall, Giedt Hall, Rock Hall, and Walker Hall. If budget allows two additional buildings will be added to the scope, Roessler, the Grove. The specific improvments depend on the building’s current condition. Aggie Access, intrusion alarms, and security cameras will be installed at the six standalone lecture hall buildings (California, SSH, Khaira, Kleiber, Giedt, and Rock). The doors will be replaced at Kleiber Hall, Chemistry (Rock Hall), SSH, and Khaira. Wellman, Olson, and Walker Halls are already secured with Aggie Access, therefore only intrusion alarms and security cameras will be installed. Security cameras will be installed at key interior and exterior locations of the lecture halls.
