Reasons for Exemption
Pursuant to the CEQA, the project qualifies for a categorical exemption under the California Code of Regulations (CCR). Title 14. Division 6, Chapter 3, Class 3, Section 15303 (e) (Class 3) "New Construction or Conversion of Small Structures" would be applied to the proposed project for the 560 square foot pool house structure and the proposed Collector’s Permit. In the preceding section, it is noted that construction of accessory structures may be exempted if they are classified as "small.”
