Document Description
On May 13, 2025, the Board of Supervisors adopted Ordinance No. 2025-07, the Accessory Dwelling Units Ordinance, that amends Chapter 82-24 of the County Ordinance Code to comply with State ADU law, commencing with Section 66310 of the California Government Code, as amended, which governs the permitting of accessory dwelling units. The Ordinance, as adopted, is consistent with State ADU law, commencing with Section 66310 of the California Government Code and the County General Plan and Zoning Code. The Ordinance facilitates the establishment of accessory dwelling units and junior accessory dwelling units on lots in residential and mixed-use zoning districts.
