Ramsey Express proposes to lease the East Section of Warehouse 719 located at 719 Gilliss Avenue, Stockton, CA 95203 on the Port of Stockton's West Complex. The building is a currently vacant warehouse space. Ramsey Express is proposing to use 30,000-sf of eastern side of Building 719 as a warehouse for short term laydown space. The proposed project does not involve any modifications to the existing building, and would result in negligible changes in existing operations.

Reasons for Exemption
In accordance with Section 15301 of the CEQA Guidelines, the proposed project involves the leasing of an existing public facility involving no expansion of existing or former use. In accordance with Section 15300.2, which stipulates the exceptions to CEQA categorical exemptions, the proposed project would not result in a significant cumulative impact, significant effect on the environment, or impact scenic highways, hazardous waste sites, or historical resources, because it would not involve any construction and would result in a negligible increase in operations from existing conditions. Accordingly, the proposed project is exempt from the requirements of CEQA.
