Document Description
The State Street Water Improvements project consists of the construction of two water pipelines, one for Eastern Municipal Water District (EMWD) and the other for City of Hemet (City) along State Street, between Stetson Avenue and just below Chambers Street. EMWD’s pipeline will replace approximately 3,000 linear feet of 20-inch diameter steel pipeline, currently located within an easement, with 20-inch diameter PVC, shifting the alignment into the public right-of-way. The City’s pipeline will be approximately 2,400 linear feet of 24-inch diameter PVC pipeline located on the opposite side of State Street, parallel to the EMWD pipeline, and within the public right-of-way (Exhibit 2). Beneficiaries of the project are EMWD ratepayers and City of Hemet residents.

Implementation of the project consists of the replacement of an existing pipeline and the installation of a new pipeline.
