Document Description
The project proposes to install a shade structure on the California Indian Heritage Center property to provide shade for the gardeners using the non-profit community garden concession, and clients of the concession, to rest. The structure will be installed on heavily disturbed soil. Proposed work will:
• Use hand tools to excavate four (4) 24-inch diameter by 30-in. deep post holes;
• Pour four (4) concrete footings to serve as anchors for four (4) wooden 6-in. x 6-in. x 8-ft posts; and
• Attach sail shades to the posts once the concrete has cured.
