Document Description
The project proposes to drill two conventional geotechnical borings, made to a maximum depth of 25 feet below the existing ground surface using a truck mounted hollow stem auger, in support of a geotechnical engineering evaluation of soils underlying an existing structure. Immediately following drilling, the bore holes will be filled with neat cement grout (mixture of 94 pounds of Portland cement (ASTM C-150 Standard) to five to six gallons of water which is free from contaminants, turbidity, or settleable solids in accordance with the Butte County Environmental Health Department requirements).

Further, none of the exceptions to the exemption in CEQA California Code of Regulations, Title 14, Section 15300.2 apply.
