Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification Number SJN-55664-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Willow Glen Property Owners Association as represented by Harry Lee. The project is limited to the removal of sand and sediment from the lagoon channel connecting the lagoon to the Mokelumne River to restore historical depth, flow, and temperature/dissolved oxygen levels. The removal area measures 60 feet by 900 feet by 2 feet in depth, or 6,000 cubic yards of sand and sediment from throughout the channel. All sediments removed from the center of the lagoon will be placed on the lagoon bank which will be reseeded. No vegetation will be removed. All work will be conducted when the channel is dry. Access to the site/staging area will occur near an existing access point at 1230 Edgewood Drive that leads to Willow Glen Lagoon.
