Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed
Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification Number BUT-58531-R2, pursuant to
Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, City of Oroville.
The project entails installation of electrical conduit to provide electrical power from a power
pole to a newly constructed homeless shelter. Permittee will utilize heavy equipment (such as
a trenching machine) and hand tools to trench across a seasonal stream and install the
electrical conduit a minimum of 3 feet below ground level. It is expected that the seasonal
stream will not contain any water during project activities, but if needed, Permittee will install
a dewatering system. The trench will be approximately 12 inches wide. The trench will have a
total length of approximately 325 feet, with a portion of this crossing the seasonal stream.
Following installation of the conduit, the trench will be backfilled with native material and
compacted.
