Document Description
The proposed project will install a maximum of eight concrete piers and a 4-foot by 40-foot aluminum staircase with an upper concrete pad. The only work below the ordinary high water mark will consist of the installation of four (of the six total) concrete piers and placement of a portion of the stairway. No heavy equipment will be used; manual labor will be used for all construction activities. A prefabricated staircase and materials will be brought to the site by boat. Following construction of the pads and piers, the staircase will be winched into place. Construction will take place when the water level is low and while the project site is dry. Any vegetation disturbed during construction will be replaced with like variety and size.
