Document Description
Department of Water Resources (DWR) Delta Field Division staff will inspect all culverts along the primary and secondary sides of the California Aqueduct (CAAQ) from Banks Pumping Plant intake channel and Check 1 to Check 8. Following inspections, culverts will be repaired and cleared of sediment/debris as needed with with hand tools or backhoe, then injected with high pressure raw water. V-ditches will also be cleaned and reshaped as needed by road grader. Staging and access will be on existing roadways. All work will be within the DWR right-of-way.

This project is exempt because it involves routine maintenance activities to prevent erosion damage to SWP facilities. This project will not result in impacts to special status species or habitat.
