Document Description
The Department of Cannabis Control, pursuant to authority granted under Business and Procession Code, Section 26012, approved a Microbusiness commercial cannabis license submitted on 06/26/2019, by MAGIC SHOW, LLC. The Project will consist of a cannabis microbusiness located at 1000 SAINT FRANCIS WAY, SUITE# F RIO VISTA, CA 94571 (APN: 0178-230-020). Project activities will occur within a 2,250sqft suite in an existing structure located on a 2-acre parcel. Microbusiness activities will consist of cannabis related retail non-storefront, non-volatile manufacturing, and distribution activities. Water will be provided for the project by the City of Rio Vista and electricity will be provided by Pacific Gas & Electric Company (PG&E).

Reasons for Exemption
The Department of Cannabis Control has determined that the project is a Class 32 Categorical Exemption project. Class 32 consists of projects characterized as in-fill development meeting the conditions described in this section. The project is consistent with the applicable general plan designation and all applicable general plan policies as well as with applicable zoning designation and regulations. The proposed development occurs within city limits on a project site of no more than five acres substantially surrounded by urban uses. The project site has no value as habitat for endangered, rare or threatened species. Approval of the project would not result in any significant effects relating to traffic, noise, air quality, or water quality. The site can be adequately served by all required utilities and public services. None of the exceptions to this exemption defined in Section 15300.2 apply.
