This project will rehabilitate approximately 14,132 feet of 24- to 30-inch diameter reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) on the South Bay Cities Main Trunk Sewer with cured-in-place pipe(CIPP) liner. In addition, the project will rehabilitate approximately fifty-six (56) manholes with a protective coating system.

The project consists of three (3) segments. The first segment begins in the sand at Manhattan Beach, approximately 90 feet southwest of the intersection of The Strand and 27th Street (Manhole (MH) 30 0014). It continues southeasterly, parallel to the beach bike trail, to Manhattan Beach Boulevard, then continues southeasterly along The Strand to 1st Street (MH 30 0035), within public rightof-way (ROW) in the City of Manhattan Beach. It continues along Hermosa Avenue to 25th Street (MH 30 0043), within public ROW in the City of Hermosa Beach. The second segment begins at Palm Drive and 25th Street (MH 30 0044), then continues southeasterly along Palm Drive to 14th Street, then southerly along Manhattan Avenue to 10th Street, then southerly along Bayview Drive to approximately 120 feet north of 8th Street (MH 30 0061), all within public ROW in the City of Hermosa Beach. The third segment begins on Valley Drive approximately 430 feet north of 2nd Street (MH 30 0068) and extends southeasterly across the Hermosa Valley Greenbelt to approximately 170 feet east of the intersection of Valley Drive and 2nd Street (MH 30 0346), all within public and private ROW in the City of Hermosa Beach.
