Document Description
Southern California Edison (SCE) proposes the replacement of existing pole 1310798E, as well as a one (1) anchor and guy replacement at pole 4626043E and the overhead equipment and wires to covered conductors between the two mentioned poles within Caltrans right-of-way along State Route (SR-)150 at Post Mile (PM) 16.16, as well as to perform traffic control activities in the City of Ojai, Ventura County. The scope of work will be as follows: 4626043E (Loc 1) – Replace an existing 36-foot lead anchor (Anchor 1) in its existing location with a new anchor on the roadside westbound (WB) SR-150 at PM 16.157. The existing 55-foot pole will remain as is. 1310798E (Loc 2) – Replace the existing 35-foot Class 5 wood guy-pole with a new 35-foot Class 1 wood guy-pole 1 foot west of its existing location on the roadside along eastbound (EB) SR-150 at PM 16.156. The existing 8-foot lead anchor (Anchor 2) will be replaced outside the State right-of-way. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 72 inches, a maximum width of 24 inches, and a maximum length of 2 linear feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project. This NEPA and CEQA determination is for all work within Caltrans right-of-way.
