Document Description
TraPac LLC has reached an agreement with the ITS Terminal at the Port of Long Beach (POLB) for the purchase of one existing Ship- to- Shore (STS) crane. The proposed project involves removing the existing crane from ITS terminal at Pier G in POLB and relocating it to the TraPac terminal at Berth 136 in Port of Los Angeles (POLA). Crane apex, forestays and backstays will be removed at ITS to clear the Vincent Thomas bridge, and temporary support structures will be installed for the boom and back reach. Crane will be loaded onto a barge, transported via sea voyage to POLA, re- erecting the apex on the barge, offloading at TraPac and commissioning the crane.
