Reasons for Exemption
On March 5, 2024, the City Council adopted Resolution No. R-2024-17 approving the Disposition and Development Agreement No. DDA-2023-01 with Mercy Housing California transferring title of properties located at 300, 307, 312, 314, and 323 Baker Street in the City of Placentia to facilitate an affordable multifamily housing development on a 0.77-gross acre site. The Resolution actions included determination of exemption based on a Class 32 Infill Exemption. The DDA involves the real estate transaction for a future ministerial affordable housing project. The City Council found that this project is Categorically Exempt pursuant to Section 15332 of the CEQA Guidelines, in that the action is to approve a DDA in compliance with the conditions and requirements of CEQA Guidelines Section 15332.
