Reasons for Exemption
The project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act under Section 15301(f) of the CEQA Guidelines, Existing Facilities. The proiect proposes the construction of four signs to act as navigational devices or "wayfinding signs." The signs shall be located entirely within the existing landscape median of the existing roadway. All proposed work is within the existing right-of-way with no expansion of use or additional lanes.
