Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed
Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification Number SAC-57168 -R2, pursuant to
Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, CDFW’s Land Program.
The project is limited to enhancement and restoration of about 343 acres of perennial
freshwater marsh habitat within Badger Creek and Snake Marsh which includes the
construction of berms to improve water retention in the marsh, the installation of two pipelines
to provide more reliable water delivery from an existing irrigation well to the marsh, the control
of Uruguayan water primrose (Ludwigia hexpetala) using goat grazing and herbicide
application, and tree plantings to improve riparian habitat.
