Document Description
The Hickman Offsite Mitigation at Crows Landing River Ranch (Mitigation Project) is warranted to fully compensate for temporary and permanent riparian impacts as a result of the Hickman Road Bridge over Tuolumne River Replacement Project (Hickman Project). The Mitigation Project is located on the Crows Landing River Ranch in Stanislaus County within the historic riparian and floodplain zone of the San Joaquin River, totaling approximately 1.67 acres. The land is owned and maintained by River Partners with the purpose of restoring the area to a floodplain/riparian zone. In order to fully mitigate for impacts that resulted from the Hickman Project, the 1.67 acres will be vegetated with native trees and willow species.
