Expansion of the quarry would consist of 33.5 acres to the north of the current mining operation on the same property (APN 0496-011-75) and on an 80 acres portion of the adjacent parcel (0496-011-76) to the west for a total quarry size 161.7 acres. The quarry depth is proposed to be increased from 250 to 500 feet below the ground surface (bgs), with the average pit floor depth being +/- 485 feet bgs. Additionally, expansion of crushing, screening, processing, and product stockpile areas is proposed on an additional 80 acres portion west of the expanded 161.7 acres quarry area. This 80 acres portion is west of, and on, the same parcel (0496-011-76) as the 80 acres quarry expansion area.
