Document Description
On April 29, 2020, the California Department of Fish and Wildlife
(CDFW) executed Streambed Alteration Agreement Notification Number 1600-2019-0244-R2,
pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Youth with a
Mission- Springs of Living Water, CDFW has agreed to extend the term of the Agreement to
April 29, 2030.
The project is limited to the excavation of approximately 10,000 cubic yards of sediments from
the existing reservoir. Access will be performed through and existing road. The sediments will
be placed outside the active channel where they cannot pass into waters of the state. Only
emergent vegetation within the existing pond will be impacted by the project. Prior to starting
construction activities, the existing reservoir will be gradually drained to prevent sediment
release into Mud Creek.
