Document Description
The project consists of the installation of an 8-foot wrought iron fence directly behind the sidewalks at the Saint Philomene Church and School.
The project consists of the following entitlements:
1. A Special Development Permit to allow the proposed project to deviate from the following development standards:
• Multi-Family and Institutional Use Fences (Section 5.2.5.C.1.b): Institutional Uses. Fences are not permitted, except that open ornamental fences such as wrought iron are permitted on the property line along a public right-of-way. Any fence located along a public right-of-way shall be placed behind sidewalks and required landscaping. As proposed, fencing will be located directly behind sidewalks instead of required landscaping.
• Front Yards in All Zones Except AR and AG Zones (Section 5.2.5.B.1.a.iv): Open fencing constructed of wrought iron or similar material not exceeding seven (7) feet in height. As proposed, the wrought iron fence will be (8) feet in height.
2. A Design Review to determine substantial compliance with the Sacramento County Countywide Design Guidelines (Design Guidelines
