Document Description
The purpose of this project is to allow for convenient travel along the segments of 19th Ave and Fox Dr within the City of Lemoore and provide increased safety for pedestrians, drivers, and businesses. 19th Ave and Fox Dr are both collector roads that provide the community with adequate movement for the transportation of goods and the accessibility to various parks and neighborhoods. The segment for Fox Dr is approximately ½ mile long while the segment for 19th Ave is approximately 1/3 mile long. Both contain areas of pavement and sidewalk that have deteriorated and/or cracked over time. This project contains an overlay for Fox Dr between Hanford-Armona Road and Brentwood St and for 19th Ave between Cinnamon Dr and D St. A micro-surfacing treatment will be done for Fox Dr between Brentwood St to Cinnamon Drive. Fox Dr also requires that there be curb, gutter, and sidewalk repairs where needed. Both 19th Ave and Fox Dr will have signing, striping, and pavement markings along project limits.

The adjacent commercial and residential properties will not be negatively impacted because there will not be an expansion of the use of the existing facility. The project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) review as a Class 1 existing facilities project for the operation, repair, maintenance, permitting, leasing, licensing, or minor alteration of existing public or private structures, facilities, mechanical equipment or topographical features, involving negligible or no expansion of existing or former use pursuant to the California Code of Regulations, Title 14 Section 15301 (c).
