Document Description
Remove an existing log structure at the southern boundary of Ed Z’Berg Sugar Pine Point State Park that no longer houses a park entrance sign and install a new park entrance sign to alert the public that they are entering the park. Work will: • Dismantle the log structure and remove the vertically installed logs from the soil and transport and dispose of at approved burn piles located within the park; • Use shovels to remove soil sloughing from the holes with total excavation to remain within the removed logs’ footprint; • Use an excavator to install locally sourced cedar logs vertically, to a depth of 5-ft, and use shovels to back-fill soil to secure the logs; and • Place a horizontal log and attach a new sign to the log structure.
