Reasons for Exemption
The City has determined that the Project is exempt from CEQA on the basis that it is statutorily exempt as a ministerial project pursuant to CEQA Guideline 15268, and that it is specifically exempt as a use-by-right approval of supportive housing pursuant to Government Code Section 65650 et seq. Pursuant to Government Code Sections 65583.2(i), 65650(e), 65651(a) and 65651(b)(2), supportive housing projects reviewed and approved as a use-by-right pursuant to those sections does not constitute a project under CEQA, and is therefore exempt from CEQA review.
