Document Description
There will be a geotechnical site investigation for the Scott Creek Coastal resiliency
project located on State Route 1 at postmile 31.28 to 31.96 in Santa Cruz County. The
purpose of the geotechnical investigation is to assess subsurface conditions for
foundation design of the proposed bridge and associated retaining walls, parking lots,
restroom building, cuts, and fills. The proposed geotechnical investigation includes 20 borings, drilled within Caltrans Right-of-Way, confined to the paved shoulder or cut-slope locations.
