Document Description
The 2025 Regional Water Reclamation Facilities CIP Prioritization Project is a planning study designed to address unanticipated increases in daily mass loading of biochemical oxygen demand, total suspended solids, and ammonia at EMWD’s four Regional Water Reclamation Facilities: Moreno Valley RWRF, Perris Valley RWRF, San Jacinto Valley RWRF and Temecula Valley RWRF. The study will analyze adjustments needed to properly treat wastewater and reduce organic matter and ammonia. Overall, this study will identify improvements needed to meet future infrastructure needs, account for projected population growth, and maintain operational effectiveness and reliability for each RWRF. Beneficiaries of the project are EMWD ratepayers.
