Reasons for Exemption
Class 3 15303(d) New Construction or Conversion of Small Structures includes water mains, sewage, electrical, gas, and other utility extensions, including street improvements, of reasonable length. The Project would take place with in roadways and there would be no impacts to biological or cultural resources. The Project Site is not within a Scenic Highway nor is it within a known hazardous material site. Any impacts to noise, air quality, and greenhouse gas would be from construction activities, which would stop once construction was completed. Therefore, the Project would qualify for Class 3 15303 New Construction CEQA Exemption.
