Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification Number NEV-52640-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Truckee Donner Recreation and Parks District. The project is limited to the demolition and replacement of two existing public recreational piers (Pier #1 and Pier #16) on the north side of Donner Lake. The demolition will include the removal of steel and concrete drums at Pier #1, and wood piles at Pier #16. The replacement piers will consist of driving 5 new steel piles at each location. Pile installation will be by way of an amphibious vessel as well as framing/welding for the replacement of the two piers.
