Document Description
The proposed project will launch a zero-emission, FMLM microtransit service designed to operate seamlessly along side existing transportation networks, including VTA, Caltrain, Bart, and ACE. The microtransit service will span the entire 19.2 square miles of Sunnyvale, utilizing 9 vehicles to ensure efficient and equitable access to all neighborhoods, particularly focusing on disadvantaged and low-income communities in the Sunnyvale Neighbors of Arbor Including LaLinda (SNAIL) and Lakewood neighborhoods as well as employees commuting into the area for work.

Specifically, the proposed project will utilize 9 electric vehicles which will travel on public streets within City limits, and will offer City residents and commuters an alternative to single-occupancy vehicles. The project entails low-cost, on-demand transportation within the City, providing point-to-point service using on-demand routing technology and enhancing connectivity to key public transit hubs.
