Document Description
The overall goal of this project is to enhance wildlife habitat. This project will install 42 wildlife structures on two ranches in the Shasta Valley, totaling approximately 1 acre. At the Grenada ranch, there will be 10 small birdhouses attached to fence posts. There will also be 2 kestrel boxes, one barn owl box, and one bat house; all mounted on poles. There will also be one barn owl box and one bat house, mounted on buildings. At the Gazelle Ranch, there will be 20 small birdhouses attached to fence posts. There will also be 2 raptor perches, and 3 small birdhouses; mounted on poles. There will also be a turtle basking structure installed at a pond edge. (WCB Project Tracker ID: 2022065).
