Document Description
This project consists of replacement of the windows facing North and South (facing Green and Union Streets) of the school building, including the large auditorium windows. In 1992, the classroom windows facing east (facing Franklin Street) and west (facing the interior of the block and the school playground) were replaced with aluminum windows matching the old wooden windows from the original construction in the 1920s. This project replaces the rest of the original windows that are beyond their useful life and require immediate replacement and re-glazing to serve purposes of operating the school as a energy efficient and temperature controlled environment. The new windows will match the aluminum windows on the installed in 1992 to create a uniform look and weather-efficient equality of windows at the school. The project will take place in the 2025 summer school break or as soon thereafter as can be scheduled.
