Document Description
The Department of Cannabis Control, pursuant to authority granted under Business and Profession Code, Division 10, Chapter 2, Section 26012, approved a commercial cannabis cultivation license.
The project consists of an ongoing cannabis cultivation operation located at 241 North Meadow Lane in unincorporated Trinity County near Hayfork, California. The designated Assessor’s Parcel Number 015-420-30-00, is 23.45 acres in size and zoned as Agricultural, 20 acre min (A20). Site cultivation operations commenced in approximately 2018. The site comprises approximately 53,590 sq ft of total area, with a combined cultivation area of 15,400 sq ft (9,400 sq ft mature cultivation area, 6,000 sq ft of immature growth). The site license is classified as “Small Mixed Light” and utilizes a combination of temporary hoophouses and permitted greenhouses. All temporary hoop houses will be replaced with permitted greenhouses in subsequent seasons. Greenhouses will be built in the currently developed footprint, no additional grading or development will be necessary. Support facilities include an existing storage garage, 20’x20 for nutrients, pesticides, and administrative hold area totaling approximately 400 sq ft. One small shed, 10’x12’ is used for processing (120 sq ft). Total support area is 520 sq ft. There are six (6) water tanks supplied by a permitted groundwater well and pump that is currently installed on the property. The property utilizes a permitted septic system serviced routinely as needed.

Reasons for Exemption
The Department of Cannabis Control has determined that the project is consistent with the local jurisdiction community plan and/or zoning designations. CEQA mandates that the project is consistent with the development density established by existing zoning, community plan, or general plan policies for which an EIR was certified and shall not require additional environmental review, except as might be necessary to examine whether there are project-specific significant effects which are peculiar to the project or its site. The project activity fits within the parameters included in CEQA Guidelines Section 15183 and the activity does not require additional CEQA analysis.
