Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2021-0005-R5, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power as represented by Jane Hauptman.
The Project is limited to the one-time removal of soil and debris at the eastern extent of Drainage 2 where inspection of the pipeline is necessary; and the routine removal of vegetation from all areas within 10 feet of the pipeline. To allow for the inspection and protection of the Bouquet water pipeline, routine vegetation clearing will be conducted annually. Vegetation clearing will involve the clearing of brush and vegetation from all areas within 10 feet of the edge of the pipeline. Vegetation will be removed by hand crews using mowers and chainsaws. Vegetation will be cut at the base and no ground disturbance will occur. The Agreement does not cover any necessary repairs to the Drainage 2 site, only the excavation and inspection activities.
