Document Description
The proposed project will involve the procurement of nine battery electric Utility Tractor Rigs (UTRs). These new eUTRs will replace older diesel-powered yard tractors, thereby eliminating another source of on-Port emissions while enhancing the overall efficiency of operations at the Port of Hueneme. This component is CEQA exempt. In addition, the Port will purchase and install the corresponding charging infrastructure on its South Terminal.
