Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-SCR-50983-R3, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Santa Cruz County - Department of Public Works as represented by Joel LaCagnina.
The Project involves replacing a failed 4-foot culvert below Stetson Road at Post Mile 0.18 on Amaya Creek in Santa Cruz County. The Project notification proposes replacing a failed culvert with the same size culvert. High storm flows in winter 2023 led to the collapse of the culvert, crib wall, and failure of the slope above the outlet at stream level. Permittee will replace the existing culvert and headwall, restore the roadway embankment, and place rock rip-rap at the culvert inlet and outlet. Additionally, areas onsite will be replanted with native plants.
