Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-CCA-43395-R3, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Save Mount Diablo
The Project will remove non-native giant reed from approximately 0.1 acres of riparian corridor in Marsh Creek, to improve native riparian habitat. Non-native removal will occur at two identified site and this site will be revegetation with approximately 100 containers of native plant species. Non-native plants will be manually removal by hand crews using loppers, shears, hand picks, and shovels and will be placed in wrapped materials to decompose at an adjacent upland location. Site access by hand crews will occur from the existing informal trails and no work will occur in the wetted channel.
