Document Description
Project consists of installing Red Flag warning signs at two (2) State Parks within the Mountain Sector of Santa Cruz District, for the purpose of having an official information system to warn the public of fire restrictions in the parks. For each sign, one (1) at the entrance to the campground loops in Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park and one (1) in front of the entry kiosk at Portola Redwoods State Park, work will excavate a 2-ft deep hole, install a 4x4 redwood post (backfilling with excavated soils to secure), and mount the Red Flag warning signs to the posts. When the Red Flag warning signs are not needed, they will be covered with brown plywood.
