Document Description
Caltrans proposes to repair bridge decks at eleven bridge locations in Alameda County on Routes 13, 238, 580, and 880. The project will include treating bridge decks with methacrylate, placing polyester concrete overlay, replacing joint seals, and replacing asphalt concrete (AC) approaches. Construction will take place at night and one-way traffic control will be required. No clearing and grubbing activities are proposed. It is anticipated that construction would start in March 2025. Construction will remain within Caltrans right of way on or directly adjacent to the roadway on the paved shoulder. Equipment will be staged within Caltrans right of way in areas absent of vegetation.
