Document Description
This project will require rig work at an existing well site. No environmental impact is expected. Rig and associated equipment will be transported to the site via public and/or private roadways in a manner that ensures the safety of the public and protection of the environment. SHP’s rig fleet and service vehicles are in full compliance with CARB and South Coast AQMD requirements. Additionally, vehicles participate in the California Highway Patrol BITs program. Unless otherwise required, rig jobs are conducted during regular business hours to minimize possible disturbances. When necessary, sound walls and engine mufflers are used to mitigate noise conditions that may occur during the job.
The proposed project consists of the California Department of Conservation, Geologic Energy Management Division (CalGEM) approving 1 permit for Signal Hill Petroleum to rework the well listed below, in the Long Beach Oil Field.
