Document Description
The City of Indio Last Mile Infrastructure Project proposes to serve an estimated 498 unserved locations based on a March 2024 supplemental application filing. There are approximately 884 unserved units in the project area, including 290 unserved Multiple Dwelling Unit locations representing an estimated 724 unserved units. An estimated unserved population of 2,692 would be offered service. An estimated total population of 5,242 will benefit from these investments in the City of Indio. The last-mile fiber project will provide up to 1,000 megabits per second symmetrical service to consumers. The City of Indio Last Mile Infrastructure Project will benefit disadvantaged or Environmental and Social Justice communities; 76 percent of the unserved locations are low-income. The City of Indio has committed to maintaining its prices for at least ten years and will provide a low-cost plan that meets the requirements in D. 22-04-055, Section 3.
