The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed
Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification Number SJN-57039-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, North San Joaquin Water Conservation District. The project is limited to the installation of a second temporary water pump fitted with an Intake Screens, Inc (ISI) conical fish screen (78 inches wide at bottom by 37.5 inches tall) on the bed of the Mokelumne River. The total annual withdrawal for both temporary intake pumps may reach up to 8,000 acre-feet (Water Rights Permit Number 10477).
