The project is to conserve, restore, protect, or enhance, and assist in the recovery of California native fish and wildlife, and the habitat upon which they depend. Specifically, the project will protect and enhance existing vegetation on the property, including wetlands and upland scrub. IID will be granting an interest to DWR in the land for the purpose of the preservation and restoration of natural conditions of the property, including the plant and animal habitats.
