Document Description
The Department of Cannabis Control, pursuant to authority granted under Business and Procession Code, Section 26012, approved a small indoor commercial cannabis license submitted on 6/11/2020 and a distribution operation by Irish City Farms, LLC.
The Project will consist of a small indoor cannabis cultivation and distribution facility located at 304 Motor City Court, Modesto CA, 95356 (APN 046-008-018-000). It will operate within an existing 14,304 square foot (sf building on a 29,573-sf lot. Cultivation activities will consist of approximately 10,000 sf of mature canopy with processing on site. Distribution activities will occur within a 128-sf area. This project is estimated to use approximately 2,228 megawatt hours (MWh) of electricity per year for the cannabis cultivation and distribution. While the project may use a considerable amount of power, it is set up to use this energy efficiently. The building, constructed in 1989, previously hosted an autobody shop, which required moderate energy use. By modernizing the building to meet current applicable standards, energy efficiency was improved over existing conditions.
