The exemption expressly applies to “interior or exterior alterations involving such things as … electrical conveyances.” (State CEQA Guidelines, § 15301(a).) The Project provides for the purchase and installation of a portable trailered generator, which may be used at any of the District’s above-referenced Utility Stations; the Project further provides for an upgrade to existing electrical panels at the above-referenced Utility Stations. These minor alterations involve negligible or no expansion of use, and they are categorically exempt from CEQA.
