The work includes removal and disposal of abandoned electrical underground vault including pipe vents and other abandoned vault components; removal and disposal of chain link fence and footings, trash enclosure, existing concrete improvements, trees, shrubs and irrigation system; clearing, grubbing and grading; subgrade preparation and compaction; backfilling with crushed aggregate base (CAB) and compaction of the area where the vault was removed; construction of Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) improvements; cold milling; construction of 4”- thick CAB base, 2.5”- thick Asphalt Concrete base course, and 1.5”- thick AC overlay; installing new and existing wheel stops; parking lot striping and pavement markings; traffic control; and all appurtenant work necessary for the proper construction of the contemplated improvements.
